TUBE AMP RE-TUBE and SERVICING.

Tube amps require periodic maintenance. Over time with long hard playing, tubes wear out and need to be replaced either power tubes only or a full set including pre-amp tubes and rectifier. You’ll be amazed at the difference a set of properly biased new tubes and servicing can make.

TUBE AMP SERVICE :

Remove & replace worn/faulty tubes and adjust bias.

Tubes are supplied in matched sets .

Preamp tubes replaced if required

Pots, sockets  & switches cleaned and re-tightened or replaced if necessary.

Visual check of solder joints on circuit boards and resoldered  where necessary

All amps are left on for a "Burn In" time after servicing  and then checked and played with guitar.

ONLY $79.00 plus parts

(Fault finding / diagnosis may add extra costs)

SOLID STATE AMPS NEED SERVICE  AS WELL.

Solid state amps are usually very reliable, and give years of trouble-free service. However, over time like their tube brothers, input sockets can become loose  or develop  intermittent contacts causing unwanted hum and loss of guitar signal. Volume, tone and other controls can become loose and scratchy causing unwanted noise, loss of tone and output.

SOLID STATE AMP SERVICE:

Dismantle, clean dust & dirt from chassis.

Pots, sockets  & switches cleaned and re-tightened or replaced if necessary.

Visual check of solder joints on circuit boards and resoldered where necessary.

Meter test of power supply voltages and adjust or repair as necessary.

ONLY $59.00 plus parts

(Fault finding / diagnosis may add extra costs)

Effects pedals: occasionally need a bit of TLC as well.  Input/output jacks often become loose and power supply and/or battery connectors become intermittent. Nothing worse than jumping on your favorite  pedal to rip into a screaming solo to hear. . . nothing!!!

Guitar electronics: can also require attention. Loose output jacks, dodgy/scratchy pots can cause your guitar to cut out just at the wrong time.
